Are you sitting on the fence about this Christianity thing?

Do you know someone who you would love to talk to about Jesus but just can’t find the words?

When I first became a follower of Jesus I was so excited to tell my family and other loved ones about my new faith. I knew Jesus was the answer to their every need and I wanted to introduce them to Him.

Most of them didn’t give me the time of day. Brothers, sisters, even my parents were put off by the changes they were seeing and became defensive when I wanted to tell them of the Source.

This book is a result of my frustration with their responses. The only comment that I know of that isn’t addressed in this book is the one my sister-in-law said to me at my home during a BBQ.

“You’re sick!”

Not a lot you can say back to that, huh? Maybe I should have just made it the title.

The entire act of becoming born again has to be of God. Our part is only to believe, to believe it with all our heart, actually receiving what he has done, that is the meaning of  ”believe” here. We are to believe so wholeheartedly that we receive the free gift of eternal life. What’s more if we do, God voluntarily gives us spiritual birth, He creates a new nature in us, a godly nature. We hand our life over to God and simply say, “I want the life You have planned for me. Lord, please make my life pleasing to You. I am no longer going to live my life deciding what pleases You. I want You to show me what is pleasing to You.”
